npstac.org
In case you haven't noticed, this web site is dog slow these days. I have a cheap (=free) account with Dreamhost, and I'm getting what I'm paying for.
Does anyone have connections that can get us better performance? Preferrably at the same price (free to npstac)?
HELP please! Thanks.
If you're reading this blog? post, then you've found your way to the NPSTAC.org website. You might even know a little something about the NPS? TAC?. For those who don't, I'd like to provide this brief introduction to what the NPS TAC is and, more important to this article, the purpose of the NPSTAC.org web site.
About NPSTAC: As you can read on the About page, the Newton Public Schools Technology Advisory Committee (NPS TAC) was formed in November 2006 with the goal to provide a vehicle for community input and expertise into the development and implementation of an updated three-year technology plan for the schools (see plan
here). Learn more about Year One and Year Two objectives.
Hello fellow TACers,
I could really use some help improving the content orientation and performance of this npstac.org site. Is there anyone out there interested in helping?
For instance, right now the site seems more oriented towards function--WHAT you can do on the site, like create events, groups, FAQs, etc. I think it would be more useful if we could reorient it to focus on the important/hot content currently being developed on the site.
One person can't do this. It needs multiple perspectives. Please comment? if you're interested in helping.
